ปัจจุบันยังคงดํารงอาชีพเกษตรกรรมและทําการประมง ด้วยความอุดมสมบูรณ์ทางธรรมชาติ
ทําให้ที่นี่มีสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวมากมาย ทั้งนํ้าตกและทะเลที่ใสสะอาดสีเขียวมรกตจนได้รับการขนาน
นามว่า ”อันดามันแห่งท้องทะเลตะวันออก”
Koh Kood
Koh Kood is the last island of Trad sea waters and discovered since King Rama I. The majority of native race in this island is Thai-Chinese that migrated from China. The oldest village of Koh Kood is Klong Mard Village. People remain doing agriculture and fishery as a main career. Because of its beautiful natural and tourist places, Koh Kood is known in the name of “Andamun of East territorial waters”.
เกาะกูดเป็นเกาะสุดท้ายทางทิศตะวันออกของทะเลไทยในน่านนํ้าทะเลตราด มีขนานความใหญ่รองจากเกาะช้างและใหญ่เป็นอันดับ 4 ของประเทศไทยใช้เวลาเดินทางจากท่าเรือแหลมศอกโดย เรือสปีดโบ้ทใช้เวลาประมาณ 1 ชั่วโมง
Where
Koh Kood is the last island on eastern of Thai territorial waters. It is the fourth largest of Thai island and its size is smaller than Koh Chang. The majority of island areas are covered by bountiful forests. You can take speedboat approximate 1 hour to Koh Kood.
Sleep
The Beach Natural Resort is a Bali style resort that contains 34 rooms. It is a simply and harmonious nature building. This resort located on a white sand seaside of Bang Baew bay. Eat
Along side of Klong Chao (Chao Cannal), there are plenty of muddy shore forests and our recommended restaurant, “Mangrove Bungalow and Restaurant” also located in this area. This restaurant assures that foods are always fresh and are prepared by experienced chefs.
ด้วยที่ว่าเกาะกูดเป็นเกาะสุดท้ายของทะเลไทยในน่านนํ้าทะเลตราด จึงทําให้ที่นี่มีนํ้าทะเลที่ใสสะอาด กิจกรรมส่วนใหญ่ก็จะเกี่ยวกับท้องทะเล
ไม่ว่าจะเป็นดํานํ้าดูประการัง ตกปลาหรือพายเรือ และการนอนอาบแดดตามชายหาดที่เป็นที่นิยมในหมู่นักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติ หรือถ้าต้องการเปลี่ยน
บรรยากาศเราก็จะพาไปชมต้นมะค่าที่มีอายุ 500 ปี จากนั้นก็จะพาไปเล่นนํ้าที่นํ้าตกคลองเจ้า เป็นนํ้าตกที่ขนาดไม่ใหญ่นักแต่มีความสวยงามสามารถดึงดูดนักท่องเที่ยวให้อดที่จะไปเยี่ยม
เยือนไม่ได้ในทุกครั้งที่มาเกาะกูด ซึ่งที่นํ้าตกแห่งนี้ถือว่าเป็นนํ้าตกประวัติศาสตร์ก็เพราะว่า
พระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวเคยเสด็จประพาสเมื่อปีพศ.2454
และทรงพระราชทานนามเพื่อเป็นที่ระลึกถึงองค์เชียงสือว่า “นํ้าตกอนัมก๊ก"

As you know, Koh Kood is the last island in Trad territorial waters so sea-water is cleaner than other seashores. You will enjoy with outdoor activities such as scuba diving, fishing, canoeing, and sun-bathing that are popular activities for foreign tourists especially on a last activity. If you do not like sea activities, we will recommend a walking trip. The major activities of this trip consist of 500 years Ormosia and Klong Chao waterfall. Although this waterfall is not too big, the stunning scenery can attract tourists every time when they visit Koh Kood. Moreover, it is a historical waterfall because King Rama XI visited here in B.E. 2524 and gave the new name “Anumkok waterfall”.

ก็จะมีใหัชาวซาบายได้ซื้อติดไม้ติดมือกลับบ้านกัน

You will enjoy with hand made shell souvenirs such as curtain, photo frame, and etc. You might not imagine that a big size of shrimp preserved, shrimp paste, and fish sauce are easily to find and buy as a common gift from Koh Kood.
