Kuiburi is the name of one amphur of Prachubkirikhun province that we can go there by car or train. There are many interesting places such as Khao Samroiyod. In the history, this area was a sea and had several sizes of islands. At that time, the ship was sunk and had only 300 people survived from this tragedy. Hence, the original name, Khao Samroirod, came from the dreadful story. When time passing, people used a different accent so the name was changed to Khao samroiyod.

Khao samroiyod is on the west of Thai Gulf and area covers Amphur Kuiburi and Amphur Pranburi. This is the first beachside national park of Thailand. The geographical of Khao samroiyod full of mountains and in rainy season, a plenty of water flows into Khao samroiyod fen. So, this place becomes a place for birds sightseeing and gathers rare fish and tree breeds.
Prayanakorn cave is on Khao Tien area. In history stated that during Rama 1 period, Prayanakorn sailed through Khao samroiyod but he confronted with a huge storm. He decided to escape from a tragedy and then he found the big cave that had a vent on ceiling. The light from this vent made the inside cave so beautiful. The outstanding feature of this cave is Jaturamuk Pavillion called Kuhasawoun Palace. This palace established in B.E.2433 by Rama 5 ordered and also be an official sign of Prachubkirikhun province.
